We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as originally written were God-breathed, both verbally and in every part. We believe God, who is Truth, communicated through Spirit-controlled men so that the Scriptures are without error and therefore authoritative in all they teach and in all matters they touch. We believe the Bible is the supreme revelation of God’s will for man and constitutes the only infallible guide for faith and life.
At Christ Church Cascades we belong to a denomination called REACH-SA (Reformed Evangelical Anglican Church of South Africa). The denomination is a structure that serves us as local churches by keeping us accountable and ensuring that we do not depart from the gospel, which the Bible teaches. It’s a great privilege to be part of a denomination such as this, which values the Bible as God’s truth handed down to us, and makes sure we keep teaching it and living it.

Christ Church Hillcrest has been led by Jomo Mchunu since 2011. CCH wants to see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.

Christ Church Newlands was started in 1979, by Rev. William Farr, and his wife Freda. In 1990, the Rev. Raj Moodley was ordained and he succeeded Rev. Farr as the rector of the church. In 2009, Rev. Raj Moodley was elected to the office of Bishop and in 2012, Rev. Jonathan Moonien joined the church as the Assistant Minister.
Christ Church North Coast belongs to a denomination called REACH-SA (Reformed Evangelical Church of S.A). The denomination is simply an institution that serves the interests of the local church, protecting those that belong to it from departing from the historic gospel. We are grateful to belong to an institution that keeps us accountable so that we will not drift away from the truth.
To glorify God by seeing lives transformed by the Holy Spirit through the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
